Where will all the athletes and members of the press stay during the Olympic period?

The housing for athletes and journalists who attend the roughly three-week event will include 470,000 m2 of housing for athletes (equivalent to 12,000 apartment units) and 400,000 m2 of housing for journalists and other media personnel (equivalent to 10,000 apartment units). Private sector developers will build all of the housing in the two villages, and the resulting units will be offered for sale as condominiums after the games are finished.
