Yes. Laws and regulations regarding the hotel industry in China are stipulated in the "Regulations for Tourist Hotels in the PRC." The Regulations consist of 43 rules and are the first regulations in the PRC to govern the tourist hotel industry. The Regulations apply to all member hotels of the PRC Tourist Hotels' Industry Association which consists of approximately 2500 member hotels. Non-member hotels may also refer to the Regulations in their operation and management.
