When a person's life or property is damaged from defective products, whom should the victim ask for compensation?
The victim can ask for compensation from the producer of the products. He can also ask for compensation from the seller or retailer of the products. If the seller has paid the compensation, while liability should likely be borne to the producer, the seller is entitled to obtain recourse from the producer. Likewise, if the producer has paid compensation while the liability should be borne by the seller, the producer is entitled to obtain recourse from the vendor of the products.
