How can foreign real estate service providers become involved in the real estate service industry in China?
With China's WTO entry and the general expansion of its real estate services industry, there is some confusion on what business activities can be undertaken and by whom. Exactly how overseas companies can participate and obtain licensing is unclear. There are significant bureaucratic and market practice issues that need to be addressed if the real estate services sector is to become more transparent and operate by international standards.
