As experienced by other developing countries in Asian, China suffers by having an under-developed bond markets. China's bond market is only 14% of its GDP of which corporate bonds account for less than 1%. Compared with the scale of the debt market in developed countries, for example the U.S., the scale of China's bond market is not commensurate with the size of its economy.
