What business can a FIEVC engage in?
FIEVCs can:
- Invest in high-technology enterprises in which foreign investment is encouraged or permitted (but not in the discouraged or banned categories in the current catalog of foreign investment issued by MOFTEC, the State Development and Planning Commission and the State Economic and Trade Commission);
- Provide consultation services in regards to VC investments, and;
- Provide Chinese enterprises in which the FIEVC invests with management consulting services.
