Singapore - April 20, 2005 - Bing Bing Shi, a senior attorney at Lehman Lee & Xu, was invited by Business Information Asia to make a presentation to Singaporean firms on Contract Law and Dispute Resolution Methods in the People's Republic of China.
As introduced by organizers, Bing Bing is one of the few barristers and solicitors in the world who has obtained admission in both a common law (New Zealand) and civil code jurisdiction (China), with extensive hands-on experience in contract law and dispute resolution in both countries.
At the conference, there were over 30 senior legal counsels and chief financial officers representing Singaporean publicly-listed and private corporations, including INGRAM MICRO, SINGAPORE PRESS HOLDINGS, KEPPEL LAND, PCI LIMITED, and PGS, to name a few.
The presentation was very informative for the Singaporean firms, in listening to contract and dispute resolution issues from a legal expert such as Bing Bing Shi. Lehman Lee & Xu's expertise and well-established reputation in the Chinese legal market was further reinforced through the presentation.
